When we’ve experienced stress, trauma, or disconnection, it doesn’t just live in our thoughts — it lives in our bodies. Somatic therapy gently helps you tune into the physical signals beneath anxiety, shutdown, or overwhelm, so healing can happen from the inside out.
Somatic work is helpful when talking about what happened isn’t enough. It’s especially supportive if you feel disconnected from your body, emotions, or intuition — or if you’ve tried other forms of therapy but still feel stuck.
Somatic therapy is never about forcing a feeling or digging into pain. Instead, we work gently — with breath, body awareness, imagery, and sensation — to help you become more present in your body. You might notice small shifts: more clarity, deeper calm, or even feeling emotions move through, not just stay stuck.
We always start by creating a felt sense of safety. That means you stay in choice throughout the process. There’s no need to “go deep” before you’re ready — your body sets the pace, and I follow with attunement and care.
