IFS therapy in Calgary and online
A parts-based approach that helps you meet yourself with curiosity.
You know yourself well. And yet something still feels stuck.
You've spent time understanding yourself — your patterns, where they came from, why you do what you do. And that awareness matters. But there's a difference between understanding a part of you, and truly helping it feel heard.
-
You're self-aware. You've read the books, done the journaling, maybe tried therapy before. And yet there's something that hasn't shifted. A way you respond, a voice in your head, a feeling that follows you. You're ready to go deeper.
-
It criticises, compares, pushes. It tells you you're not doing enough — or that you're too much. You've tried to reason with it, ignore it, fight it. But it keeps coming back.
-
Sometimes you feel grounded and clear. Other times a situation arises and you don't quite recognise yourself. You react in ways that don't feel like you — and you wonder why.
-
Old hurt, old longing, old experiences that shaped how you see yourself and others. Insight has helped you understand where it came from. But understanding hasn't been enough to let it go.
What becomes possible when every part of you feels met — rather than managed.
A quieter inner critic — and growing compassion for the parts of you that have been working so hard
More access to the version of yourself that is clear, grounded, and genuinely at ease
Patterns that have felt impossible to shift begin to soften and change
A deeper sense of being on your own side — maybe for the first time
Space to put down what you've been carrying, and reconnect with who you are beneath it
I believe healing happens when we meet our inner world with curiosity rather than criticism.
In IFS, we work gently with the different parts of you — the ones that protect, the ones that push, the ones that have carried pain for a long time. Rather than trying to change or silence these parts, we get curious about them. We ask what they've been holding, and what they need. From that place, I believe real unburdening becomes possible — not because you've fixed anything, but because those parts finally feel seen. Our sessions are warm, unhurried, and shaped entirely around what feels safe for you.
If you're curious about what it might feel like to meet yourself a little more gently, I'd love to connect.
