In-person and Online trauma therapy

What to Expect

How it Works

I’m here to help simplify the process, so you can take the next step with clarity.

1

Step One

Schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This is a relaxed space to talk about what’s bringing you here, ask questions, and see if this feels like a good fit. There’s no pressure — just an invitation to meet.

2

Step Two

If we choose to move forward, we’ll book a full intake session to explore your story, history, and what you’re hoping for in therapy. This gives us a foundation for our work together.

3

Step Three

From there, we begin regular sessions — steady, collaborative, and grounded in the safety. Whether you're processing trauma, unpacking long-held patterns, or learning to meet yourself with more compassion, we’ll move at your pace.

Rates

Therapy is an investment — in your wellbeing, your relationships, and the life you're slowly growing toward.

I offer both in-person and online sessions for adults, typically 60 minutes in length. Extended 90-minute sessions are also available for deeper support — especially when working through complex challenges or trauma processing.

In-person Individual Counselling

$200 | 60 minutes

Online Indivdual Counselling

$200 | 60 minutes

Extended Individual Counselling

$300 | 90 minutes

Insurance

Many extended health benefit plans in Canada offer coverage for counselling with a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). If you plan to use insurance, I encourage you to contact your provider in advance to confirm whether services with a CCC are included. If covered, you’ll pay for sessions directly and receive a receipt to submit for reimbursement. While I don’t offer direct billing at this time, I’m happy to support you in navigating the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • My work is relational, attachment-based, and trauma-informed. I draw from several approaches including EMDR (for trauma processing), EFIT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy), somatic and parts-based work, and mindfulness-based tools. Our work will always be collaborative — grounded in what feels supportive and safe for you.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions to create consistency and momentum. Over time, we may shift the frequency depending on your needs, goals, and capacity.

  • Not at all. You’re welcome here whether you’re moving through something big or just feeling off and unsure why. Therapy can support growth, clarity, and healing at any stage.

  • Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, but most of the clients I work with stay in therapy for six months or longer. This allows us to build trust, explore patterns at a meaningful depth, and support lasting change. That said, we’ll move at your pace — and you’re welcome for as long (or as briefly) as feels supportive to you.

  • That’s okay. Starting again takes courage. We’ll go at your pace, and I’ll always work to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and met where you are.

  • Yes — I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots for families with financial need. If affordability is a concern, please reach out. I’ll do my best to accommodate or offer referral options.

  • I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less notice are subject to the full session fee.

Ready for things to feel different?

Change doesn’t have to start with a big leap.
Sometimes it begins with a single conversation — one grounded in care and curiosity.
